The Resort Master Premium Wood Umbrella
Our Resort Master premium wood umbrellas feature truly marine grade frames made of heavy duty Saligna wood, which is a South African plantation grown hardwood with a long grain. Saligna wood is often used for mining timbers because it will bend rather than break under great weight.

The center pole has two stainless steel non-expansion sleeves to prevent swelling under the hub and at the base of the center pole. We only use Sunbrella brand 100% solution dyed acrylic covers. The seams of the covers are all double stitched with polyester thread, and the pockets are reinforced with seat belt material. The covers and all the components of the frame are easily replaceable by the consumer.

Wood umbrella frames require periodic maintenance by oiling the exposed wood with Murphy Oil. Oiling will maintain moisture in the wood and keep it from drying out. Dried out wood components of an umbrella will eventually crack and break.
